Changes (living in a “free” world)

There will be some changes on this blog until I paid the fee getting me free from ads. (Meaning some of my entries destroyed by inserted ads are now set “private” not visible for a while.) If only the ads came after an entry, I could accept it. But to see my text cut up in pieces by ads and exposed to ridiculous intrusion that confuses my subject and becomes a mockery of my text, it broke my heart to discover. I don’t know what kind of advertising you are exposed to on my blog? My son say he gets ads for Sci-fi novels – and that may be okay as that is what he reads. But I get ads for men about testosterone supplements and for women about liposuction, it all illustrated by half-naked people in positions. If this is person-oriented advertising, as my son claims it to be, it must be a misunderstanding in the browser stores for cookies about my true interests in this life! I write poems about the complications of love and aging, etcetera. I write prose about different subjects, like movies I watch and what I just have read at the online newspapers. For example: Erdoğan declares Turkey will now invade Syria. Donald Trump’s earlier threat to abandon US allies curds in Syria will now be realised. And it is easy to see what will come: new genocide and refugee tragedies are coming! And I read China has closed down “South Park” on South Park Twitter October 7 commented: “Like the NBA, we welcome the Chinese censors into our homes and hearts. We too love money more than freedom and democracy. Xi doesn’t look just like Winnie the Pooh at all. Tune in to our 300th episode this Wednesday at 10. Long live the great Communist Party of China…”   (The American basketball league received. NBA has been criticized after removing a Twitter message from Houston Rockets Daryl Morey there he expressed support for protesters in Hong Kong.)  In Sweden, as in other countries in “the free world”, media and journalists are the objects of Chinese pressures, harassments and even slander campaigns. It’s “Brave new world” multiplied.
