I remember you

I remember you, lovely bearded man, who loved
me more than your life (that’s what you told me).
But then you dumped me like trash, just like that!

It was when you were cornered not to be serious
about us but showed to be alike those hypocrites
you hate that you burst out in anger and told me
not to waste my time more on you. And then you
did what I never thought you would do to me, left
me and the shock made me numb for a long time.

But I believe you really loved me and that you still
miss me. I miss you too, but I never want you back!
