“I’m fine, thanks!”

I looked after you
and found you in my heart,
that which I lost given it to you.

You hold yourself back with these “I’m fine”.
With time, it’s like serving a chicken to a lion.

We are like prisoners in chains, bound to each
other and we trudge through this mud we call
“love”. And then nothing to say but “I’m fine”!

There’re days when I want to free me to leave
you, everything to regret and forget. “Nothing
to say!” is like a grain of sand in an oyster and
“I’m fine” answers hurt the heart. I just hate it.

But I guess it is just a matter of time before one
simply takes off the chains, leaving it all having
nothing to say but an “I fine, thanks”!
