Is love’s ending, love in vain?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Is love’s ending, love in vain?
I woke up and felt like a bus
had run over me, it was you!

Walking a street, no map and
not sure where to go or what
to turn to and eyes burns and
heart is a shrunken dried fruit.

Not happy, no more unhappy!

I’m measuring you: if you were
serious and true to me, then it’s
okay but if not, then I was used.
And I “must” feel this lousy and
low? Or is it “all in your head”?

But my wounded soul still asks:
is a love ending a love in vain?
