I miss smoking cigarettes

Photographer Bill Rauhauser, image1960s

I miss you!
But, oh well! I miss smoking
cigarettes too! I’ve been told
I have done well ending with
bad men as well as with
cigarettes. Oh well!
I haven’t smoked in 18 years.
I wonder if I still will miss you
18 years from now? Oh, well!
I’m happy if I’m still alive then!
The past is gone and a future
may not be for an old like me!
All there’s, is this day and this
moment now when I miss you.
(I miss smoking cigarettes too!)
