We got a link to love (August Moon)

Summer is for love in Scandinavia,
though it has never happened to me,
now summer soon will leave and I see
the rowans on my yard reddens again
and I’m still alone as ever before.

I love August moon, so big and bright
and I look at it at night before I go to
bed and I see it as my friend telling me
about you so very far away and I think
in spite the distance we share same
moon – and I find peace in that.

But now I’ve read August moon is just
a phenomena at Nordic latitudes and
it’s nothing but an optical illusion.

You didn’t know either what this, my
talk about the moon, was about. But
no matter distance or different views
and paradigms – this summer you
happened to me and I happened to
you. And even if we still live apart
and alone – we got a link to love.
