The light in my eyes

Oh honey, you’re so very wrong about me –
you’re the light in my eyes, don’t you know that!

And if I doubt you, as you say I do? You should
have talked to me then, not acted like a wronged
child with the face to the wall, sulky in response,
nagging this same! But I’m not the one to blame,
you know! You’re simply a scary man!

You always gives light to my eyes. But I want
smile on my lips, some tenderness,  feel safe;
and someone able to raise me up.

And if I can’t have that… I don’t want to have
anyone at all – nor you! But you were very
wrong about me; because I really loved you.
